Greater Manchester Hate crime plan
In 2024, the 10 local councils in Greater Manchester joined Partners. To create a plan to stop hate crime. This plan shows how we will work together over the next four years. To make our communities safer and more welcoming.
The hate crime plan has 6 key priorities:
- Increasing education around hate crime
- Preventing and intervening early to stop hate crime from occurring
- Bringing communities together to tackle hate crime
- Raising awareness and improving communication about hate crime and its consequences
- Increasing confidence in reporting hate crime
- Improving support for victims of hate crime
Under each priority is a set of actions, 20 in total.
