Business continuity support for schools

All Manchester schools are invited to join the Manchester Business Continuity Forum (MBCF), which is a free resource to support you in building your school's approach to risk and resilience.

There are a range of practical tools to help you develop your risk management and business continuity arrangements.  These resources are all based on good practice and experience, with all products designed to meet the specific needs of schools.

These support materials are available on the Schools Hub.  All schools should have received the username and password needed to access the site.

In addition to this web-based guidance, Manchester City Council also offer a core and enhanced Risk and Resilience package that you can commission from us at any point in time.

This will provide you with the expertise, training and bespoke advice to improve your risk management and business continuity capability.

For more information, or if you have any queries about MBCF or the Schools Hub, please email business.continuity@manchester.gov.uk
