If you live in the UK you can join Manchester library for free:
- follow the 'Join the library' link to complete a membership form online and we'll give you a temporary membership number;
- use this number to make reservations online straight away;
- go to one of our libraries to collect your ticket and you can start borrowing books and accessing reference materials online; and
- you'll need to show us proof of your name and address and you can borrow audio or video items, and use library computers.
Visiting as a guest
If you’re visiting from outside the UK and cannot become a library member you can still use our library computers as a guest each time you visit.
However, you will not be able to borrow any books.
