The Wythenshawe Park Cycle Hub was officially opened to the public in September 2022.

This £1.55 million investment into the park's infrastructure has been made possible following a successful application by Manchester City Council to the Places 2 Ride Fund. The award offer of £500k is being delivered through a partnership of British Cycling, Sport England and the Department of Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport (DCMS) alongside MCR Active and the Council. This funding has been matched by the City Council through the Parks Development Programme to develop an area of the park into a Cycle Hub and improve the surrounding facilities.

The Cycle Hub offers a range of facilities including a learn-to-ride beginners area, a pump track, skills zones, in both an open and forest terrain, and a shared usage Family Trail for cyclists, runners, walkers, and horse riders.
