The Local Development Scheme (LDS) explains:
- what planning documents have been produced in Manchester; and
- what planning documents we intend to produce and when they will be ready.
It includes the expected dates that people in the community can get involved in the process.
Amendments made to the LDS 2025 –2027 (September 2025 version)
We’ve updated the LDS 2025-2027 (September 2025 version).
To comply with section 15 (9A) of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004, the following is a copy of the amendments made to the previous LDS 2025-2027 that was prepared in September 2025.

A review of the Greater Manchester Waste and Minerals Plans has been undertaken and it has determined that they need to be updated. Processes related to this, and timescales for production, will be reflected in a future Local Development Scheme update when more details are available.
