Brown bins and containers
Your brown bin is for metal, glass and bottle-shaped plastic. Things you can put in it include:
- Plastic bottles - including shampoo, bleach, mouthwash, drinks, washing up liquid and milk bottles
- Foil and foil trays
- Empty aerosols
- Tins and cans
- Glass bottles and jars
There are some plastics that we can't recycle including yoghurt pots and food trays. You should put these in your grey non-recyclable waste bin.
