Social services Living with a foster carer

What you can expect from your foster carer

Your foster carers will have been told about you and what you need, and they know they have to take good care of you.

They will talk to you about:

  • mealtimes and what you like to eat
  • how they will look after you
  • bedtimes
  • pocket money.

Your foster carers will keep in close touch with your social worker and let them know how you’re getting on.
