Parks, leisure and the arts Shackliffe Green

A former land fill site and reclaimed in the late 1970's, the site is nestled between the houses of Horncastle Road and Boggart Hole Clough Park. The site has received minimal intervention and as a result now has a very diverse habitat.

Location and Access:

The site can be accessed from Horncastle Road, Boggart Hole Clough Park and Belthorn Avenue

  • Walking. There are footpaths which can be subject to wet patches during the wetter months of the year.
