An extensive riverside strip of green space, which was formerly Pike Fold Golf course. Following the development of the M60, there have been entrance improvements to access points from the Higher Blackley estate.

Location and Access:

Located adjacent to the Higher Blackley Housing Estate, the site can be accessed from Charnwood Road, Boothroyden Road and Chain Road

Recreation and Usage:

  • Informal footpath, ideal for walking,
  • Childrens informal recreation,
  • Enjoying an open space on a warm sunny day,
  • Wildlife observation.
