Events

Multiply is a new governement national programme which helps adults improve their numeracy skills. We are looking to support any Manchester care leavers 19+ who do not currently have a level 2 in maths. We have lots of fun events and training planned with the aim to boost confidence with numbers, and enhance career prospects.

There's a range of events each month. Details are listed here. You'll receive a £10 voucher for each event you attend.

Football session - Wednesday 1 May, 11am until 2pm

Location: Goals Manchester, 3 Irish Town Way, Manchester M8 0AE

Play some football, grab some food and get support back into education/ employment. Manchester Adult learning centre will be there to advise and support too.

DIY Construction Course - Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 May, all day 

Location: Skills Construction Centre, 3 Stoke Street, Manchester M11 4QU

This is going to be a 2 day course to learn invaluable DIY skills. It'll help you make improvements to your own place or even start you on a career in home improvements / construction.

Gardening / Landscaping Task - Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 May, 10am until 4pm

Location: The Beehive

This is going to be a small project to improve the grounds at The Beehive and gain work experience. Working in teams, you'll be given a budget and asked to make a plan and design of what to do with the garden area. One plan will be chosen and everyone will then be supported to make it a reality.
