Crumpsall: Enver Road area
Outcome
We held a ten week consultation from 13 May to 22 July 2024 to find out what good housing means to local people. This information was used to decide if we need a selective licensing scheme in part of Crumpsall. Read more about selective licensing

After reviewing comments from landlords and residents, we have decided to formally designate a selective licensing area around Enver Road in Crumpsall. This means that landlords and managing agents in this specific part of Crumpsall will need a licence to rent out a home. If you are a landlord in the area, you have up to 24 May 2025 to apply for a licence.
The scheme aims to improve management standards and conditions of private rented housing and support the reduction of antisocial behaviour – linked to environmental and waste management. For now, we are focusing on this part of Crumpsall. The Enver Road area includes around 147 private rented sector homes.
