Manchester featured in all three of Time Out's global listing stories as a city that people should visit.
Leader of Manchester City Council, Councillor Bev Craig, said:
"We know that Manchester is the best city to live and work. But being featured in all three of Time Out's global listing stories as a city that people should visit and explore, shows what we have known all along.
"The Our Manchester target, set out by the Council, is to be in a top-ranking global city by 2025 and this milestone proves that we're on track. The city has a huge amount of offer, from a world class culture, amazing educational opportunities and attractions- Manchester clearly the place to be.
"We're seeing more and more people from around the world choosing to make Manchester their home and we've also securing our spot as a renowned international tourist destination. We're still on an upward trajectory - although these global listing stories are great - we want Manchester to be the best place to live for all our residents and a place we are all proud to live and we're working hard to improve the lives of Mancunians across the city. "
