Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP)
Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) is additional government funding available for eligible children aged 9 months to 4 years who are accessing funded early education.
EYPP funding is intended to help providers enhance children's learning, development and outcomes by providing additional support where it is needed.
Consent to complete an eligibility check must be recorded on the Parent Declaration Form.
To claim EYPP, an eligibility check must be completed before submitting a funding claim for the child.
Detailed guidance is emailed to providers each term.
Separate arrangements apply for children who are looked after or have been adopted. Guidance on these processes is also circulated to providers each term.
Disability Access Funding (DAF)
Disability Access Funding (DAF) is a one-off annual payment made directly to providers.
To be eligible for DAF, a child must be in receipt of Disability Living Allowance (DLA).
To claim DAF, providers must submit a DAF Request through the EYES Portal.
Further guidance is available in the DAF Guide and is circulated to providers each term.
