To apply, you must choose one of two forms.
Read carefully to choose the correct one.
The first form is for full-time students who:
- recently received a bill for their current address; or
- are moving into an address in Manchester.
Select 'apply for a student discount' to launch the form.
The second form is for:
- full-time students trying to appeal a bill at a property you no longer live; or
- students with a non-British partner or dependant
- apprentices; or
- youth trainees; or
- school or college leavers; or
- foreign language assistants; or
- those who get child benefit.

You can give us the details of up to 10 residents on this form. If you need to tell us about more, we will tell you how to do this when you have submitted the form.
If possible, a resident who isn't a student should complete this form.
Before you start, make sure you have:
- the full name of each resident
- the full address and post code
- the date each resident moved in
- the date the tenancy started and is due to end
If giving details about students
You will need to submit student ID numbers for anyone attending:
- British and Irish Modern Music Institute (BIMM)
- ICTheatre & Northern Ballet(BIMM)
- Screen and Film School(BIMM)
- Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU)
- Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM)
- The Manchester College
- University of Bolton
- University of Manchester
- University of Salford
- INTO Manchester
If they attend a different place of learning, you will need to upload their:
- current council tax student certificate; or
- learning agreement
If giving details about someone who is eligible for one of the other discounts
You will need to upload the required evidence to prove they are:
an apprentice, a trainee, a foreign language assistant or a person in receipt of child benefit.
