Voluntary and community sector groups are able to apply for a range of grants from Manchester City Council. Some are small, one-off grants that support a community event or project, other grants are longer term and support a community service or facility.
There are two different types of funding available:
- Neighbourhood Investment Fund: available to communities to make their neighbourhoods better places to live. Open for ongoing applications.
- Community Events Funding: available to registered groups as development funding, to support community based, not-for-profit celebrations that can demonstrate citywide impacts and benefits. Open for applications.
