Other permissions you might need

In addition to a market rights licence, it is your responsibility to make sure you have all other permissions you need to hold your market.

This will depend on the market, but could include:

• checking if you need planning permission,
• checking if you'll need a Temporary Events Notice (TEN),
• thinking about if you need to close a road,
• if needed, remembering to get permission to hold your event in one of our parks, and
• if needed, remembering to book your City Centre outdoor space
