How to respond to our email
If we have your email address, we’ll send you an email reminder to check and confirm who lives at your address.
- The email will come from esu@manchester.gov.uk – this is our official email account used for electoral purposes.
- It will include a link to the household response website where you can confirm or update your household’s electoral register details.
- To sign in, you’ll need to enter:
- Two security codes (provided in the email)
- Your current postcode
If you’ve responded online, you don’t need to return any paper form you may receive. Responding online helps us save time and money
If you make changes to your household details, we may follow up with another email or a letter. Please respond to any further communication you receive.
If you’re registered at a previous address, the security codes in the email won’t work with your new postcode. In that case, you’ll need to register to vote at your new address via Register to Vote portal. This will update your details fully and allow you to include your previous address if needed.
