Ofsted requirements
If you will offer childcare to reception-aged children or below, you must be registered with Ofsted on the Early Years Register. Providers registered on the Early Years Register must meet certain requirements. The Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) outlines minimum staff-to-child ratios, required staff qualifications, and space requirements.
