Information for providers
Read the Wraparound Childcare Expansion programme content for details on available funding.
Access the Childcare Works ‘Wraparound Toolkit’. The toolkit has been curated by experts to bring together everything you need to grow, sustain or start, your childcare provision and is designed for all types of providers at any stage of their journey. Whether you are just starting out, are sustaining your provision, or growing, you will find informative, relevant content.
Ofsted requirements
If you will offer childcare to reception-aged children or below, you must be registered with Ofsted on the Early Years Register. Providers registered on the Early Years Register must meet certain requirements. The Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) outlines minimum staff-to-child ratios, required staff qualifications, and space requirements. These rules apply to all staff working directly with children. For more information, visit .GOV Statutory guidance - Early years foundation stage (EYFS) statutory framework
