Schools, education & childcare Adult Education courses

Many of our courses are free (English, Maths, Everyday English, Family Learning, volunteer programmes and beginner computer courses) subject to status.  Other courses (such as Childcare, Community Interpreting, higher level computer courses, Adult Health and Social Care and ESOL) are free for unemployed people actively seeking work and cost from £3.00 per hour for those in work.  However, if you are on a low income we can help you with the fees; contact one of our centres for information.

We also run a learner support service that can help you make informed choices about your future.

Basic Computer Skills for Universal Credit Claimants

This session will help you learn and practise the computer skills needed to manage your online Universal Credit claim.  You can get help with emailing, finding your way through the different parts of an online form and manage and update your action plan connected to your claim.

How to join the course

Just turn up at the start time of the session.  Please bring some proof of ID showing your current address.
