The Council and democracy Complaints and feedback

Report a problem before making a complaint

If something’s gone wrong, please report it first. This gives us a chance to fix it quickly.

How to report an issue

You can report most problems directly on our website's homepage:

  • Use the search bar - type in what you need help with (e.g. “potholes” or “missed bins”) and follow the steps to report it online
  • Browse from the homepage - find your service using the homepage links
  • Get help with your web account - support is available if you're having trouble signing in or using your account.

Reporting an issue is usually the fastest way to get it resolved. Read how we deal with complaints to make sure every report is handled fairly.

When to make a complaint

If you’ve already reported a problem and it still hasn’t been fixed, you can make a complaint.
