Planning and regeneration Projects outside the city centre

Central Park

Central Park is about a mile and a half north-east of Manchester city centre. It’s a key business location and strategic asset. And it contributes to the continued growth and economic development of North Manchester.

It’s home to major employers such as Fujitsu, The Sharp Project and Greater Manchester Police. Transport for Greater Manchester acquired 13 acres at Central Park in 2023. They plan to create a hub for the new electric bus fleet, which is being introduced across the city region.

We’re working on plans for the twenty-eight acres of undeveloped land. There’s still significant development potential. That could attract UK and international investment. And generate many new jobs – across a range of growth sectors.
